Anybody have experience replacing in furrow P with bugs and sugars/other carbon sources to stimulate biology? The thinking was to stimulate the biology enough to make enough P available for the early season demands of the crop when the soil is cold yet. For reference this is in northern Iowa and soil P levels from a Mehlich test range from 30-60 ppm prior to putting on a heavy dose of manure. Yield goal would be 280-300 also. Thanks in advance.
