I’m playing around with reducing the distance between nodes on soybeans via PGRs. The goal is to create a shorter more robust plant and ultimately to start the reproductive phase sooner. On paper I like having auxins in-furrow to stimulate the roots and thinking about following that up with a V3/V4 application of a cytokinin. Although not labeled for soybeans I think of something similar to Palisade in wheat. Does anyone have any experience doing this or would you be willing to share what has/hasn’t worked. Any other ideas to consider? Any help is appreciated and thank you.
