I am posting this based off of our conversation this morning on our Agronimist call. What this chart is showing is the total nutrient concentration in the left of the two boxes and the cation to anion relationship on the right hand box for its respective plant stage. The colors are to show the average yields (Blue) vs the high yields (Orange). I feel it shows a great story. Again most are concerned about there N levels late season. But few talk about the importance of the K,Ca,Mg late season. But as you can see by the charts, high yielding corn consistently has more cations late season.
