Calcium ➡️ Boron synergy... Boron is necessary for cell division and differentiation, structural component of the cell. It is also important in reproductive growth it aids in pollen tube formation, helps to maintain a balance in the fruit between sugar and starch, Boron aids in the translocation of calcium. I get asked often if calcium hinders boron uptake... it typically does not, unless calcium is concentrated in the soil as calcium carbonate. Availability is reduced when pH increases causing CaCO3 to react with B forming insoluble compounds.
