Some growers have been talking about the need to do foliar applications at 3 am as stomatas are wide open in the plant. I personally do not feel comfortable spraying in the dark with fences and ditches that go every which way. If you don't spray at 3 am, is it better to spray right before sunset or right after sunrise? And can a heavy dew affect the spray solution in that it runs off the plant? And would a heavy duty non ionic surfactant be effective to help the spray solution not drip off the leaves?
