I am needing some help with PH adjustment. We recently switched to city water and PH is almost 8.2. We used almost 10g of liquid citric acid, and 2g of New balance (similar to LI-700) to get 1000g foliar mix down to 6.6PH This is very expensive to do and am needing a more economical way. I am having a hard time finding just dry citric acid. But I am very interested in using phosphoric Acid and am needing some guidance where to get it or if I even should? Theory is Phosphoric acid will lower PH economically, and phosphorous will tie up calcium and heavy metals in water similar to what AMS does but more effectively? Am I on right path or not?
