Happy Friday🌽We must consider maximizing our seed potential as we draw closer to March. Seed placement is the essential and targeted population in a growing season, but what about the plant's phytohormones? Corn is an example of this, with gibberellins that act as a hormone to promote germination, root and shoot elongation, and flowering. In addition, when the seed imbibes water, the embryo converts the source's starches into sugars that promote growth. 🌱 My question is, is there a way to focus on promoting the capacity of the phytohormones to maximize germination rates and growth potential? Could the correct hormones be added or biologically activated correctly to ensure increased germination rates?🌾
